Selecting sales as my career route was not a quick choice, but I knew I wanted to do something that touched who I was inside. I know how important it is to offer someone a listening ear in tough times. Applying this understanding to a professional setting, I view sales as a career path that allows me to do just that. I choose sales for the ability to care for others and the creativity to solve their real-world issues. I admire sales professionals because the best value more than just closing a deal - but also care to build trust and long-term relationships.

What is PSP?

The Professional Selling Program is a dynamic learning incubator at UCF that nurtures aspiring sales students and transforms them into ethical, skilled, and resilient sales professionals. The program admits only 35 outstanding students each year, all of whom demonstrate exceptional potential in the field of sales. Dr. Steiger leads this excellent program and empowers students to expand their sales knowledge via hands-on activities such as role-plays and speed interviews. Students within this program are also matched with a mentor who will help them navigate their time in this rigorous year.
